सितारों से बातें (sitaaron se baatein)

दूर जाके वो खामोश बैठे रहे
और तारों से आँखें मिलाते रहे
सितारे तो समझे इशारे नहीं
उस ने आँखों में मेरी भी देखा नहीं

Door jaake vo khaamosh baiTe rahe
Aur taaron se aankhen milaate rahe
Sitaare to samjhe ishaare nahin
Us ne aankhon mein meri bhi dekhaa nahin...

Thanks to Murali for suggesting that I start using the standard transliteration scripts. I will certainly get around to doing that. I realize that my inconsistent scripting style causes difficulty for most readers. Please do bear with me until I get it right. (- Yes I have finally done it now, years later ;) )
